Strava lets athletes all over the world experience social fitness—sharing, comparing and competing with each other’s personal fitness data via mobile and online apps. Strava lets you track your rides and runs via your iPhone, Android or dedicated GPS device to analyze and quantify your performance. Strava makes fitness a social experience, providing motivation and camaraderie even if you’re exercising alone. Mr. Horvath was previously CFO & VP Operations at GlycoFi, Associate Professor at Dartmouth, Assistant Professor of Economics at Stanford University, and Kana Communications CFO & Co-Founder. He helped build Strava from his love of athletics.
Mr. Maltz joined Institutional Venture Partners (IVP) in August 2008 and has over ten years of venture capital and startup experience. He focuses on later-stage venture investments in rapidly-growing Internet and software companies. Jules was recognized as one of the top 100 venture capitalists in the AlwaysOn 2012 VC 100 List. Jules led IVP’s investments in Buddy Media (CRM), Dropbox, and WhaleShark Media, and was actively involved in IVP’s investments in LivingSocial, Marketo, Ngmoco (DeNA), Spiceworks, Sugar, Twitter, and Yext.
